The Secrets For Improving Your "SUPER" Personality

Improving Your Super Personality

So you have a "SUPER" personality, but understand that everyone could use some improvement. In fact, being "SUPER" means that you are always looking for ways to improve.

Deciding what to work on may not be as easy as you think. Sometimes we may not really understand what it means to have a great personality. Does it mean simply being a good person, or doing good for others?

While everyone's personality is different, having a good personality has a lot to do with discovering yourself and your role in the world. So, it would be good to consider what a good personality means to you.

However, knowing what you need to improve can be hard because it's hard to evaluate yourself objectively.

So, here are some tips to help you find ways you can improve on your "SUPER" personality.

1

Determine What Your "SUPER" Personality Looks Like

What your personality looks like

What is it that makes your personality "SUPER"? What exactly does that mean?

Determine what that means to you by first writing down all the traits that make your personality what it is today.

Then, ask yourself how many of those traits do you exhibit on a consistent basis. Where do you feel you're lacking?

Come up with a list of items and think of how you can make those improvements happen.

2

Choose A Role Model

Choose A Role Model

Having a role model provides you with real life examples by someone who is succeeding at what you want to do.

Examine their behaviors to see what traits you admire and want to attain. Then figure out how you can develop the same ones.

If you know them personally, ask if they would help you acquire the traits you're interested in developing. Check in with them often, and use them like a friendly spirit always by your side willing to help.

Another resource you can tap into for ideas for improvements is your close friends or family. They probably know you better than anyone else and would be willing to support you all the way.

3

Recognize Your Own Uniqueness

Find Your Own Uniqueness

While it is a good idea to find a role model to get some inspiration from, beware that comparing yourself to others can have a negative effect if you become too critical of yourself.

I go deeper into this topic in my article entitled: "Stop Comparing Yourself To Others, Just Be Yourself.

You have your own unique gifts and talents. Focus on sharing them with the world instead of focusing on the gifts of others.

Build up your positive vibes by complimenting yourself every  morning, and share that positive energy with everyone you encounter.

Even though you are making improvements to your personality, being happy with yourself helps spread that happiness everywhere you go.

4

Love Yourself First

Before we attempt to improve our personality, practice unconditional self-acceptance. Sure you may need improvements, but you can only make that happen when you truly love yourself unconditionally.

Love yourself in every way and take good care of yourself. The only way you can truly love others is to first have confidence and love yourself first.

If you do things for others without taking care of yourself, you can end up feeling resentful and angry. If you love yourself, you will make a positive impact when you help others.

5

Be That Unique You

Be That Unique You

Remember to be your unique self always. Staying true to yourself helps you appreciate your core values which helps you stay focused. Being your genuine self also reflects positively on the world in which you serve.

It's OK to take the good traits you observe in others and incorporate them into your behavior. But still remain true to your own set of core values.

It's a matter of recognizing what's important to you. As stated many times, everyone is on their own journey.

Your dedication to your own particular set of core values doesn't make you any better than anyone else. It just makes you the unique individual that you are.

6

Do Some Introspection

Introspection

One of the hardest things for a person to do is to look at themselves objectively. It will take some effort to zoom out from the day-to-day.

To help you with this introspection, sit in a comfortable chair and try to clear your mind from all those pressing thoughts. It's almost like you are getting into a meditative state.

Get to a place where your mind is relaxed and calm. Then think about yourself from a birds eye view and just observe your behaviors over the past week.

Don't react to the events, just observe. Think about the behaviors that you choose to take, and determine if those gave you peace.

Think what you could do to bring about more positive results. Do this until you feel satisfied and rejuvenated. Those are the things you will want to improve.

7

Make Small Changes

one change at a time

Now that you have some idea of the things you want to improve, determine to make some small changes. I say start small because no one can change immediately.

Set some small goals for yourself, and determine to reach them within a month or two. Developing new habits takes time to, so be patient.

Set some goals that you feel are attainable within that time frame, and start working on achieving them.

Focus on just one or two goals at a time. Soon you will be on your way to becoming the very best version of you.

8

Review Your Goals Every Day

Planning

As you start with the goal achievement process, make sure you review those goals everyday to keep them fresh in your mine. This will contribute to making them a natural part of your day.

You can even start tracking your progress so that you can look back to see how far you've come. That's also a good way to keep you motivated.

Review your goals until they become a part your daily routine.

Conclusion

Improving Your Super Personality

Even though you have a "Super Personality", there is always room for improvement. The problem is determining what to improve upon.

The first step is to figure out what your "Super Personality" looks like. Once you figure that out, then it's time to look at what you can improve.

You may find it helpful to select a role model that has the traits you most admire. If you can, talk with them to see if they will help you acquire them. If not, find a family member or a close friend to support you.

Even though you are observing the traits of others, make sure you continually recognize that you are unique.

When you are looking for ways to improve, always keep in mind that you must love yourself first. When you start solidifying that message, you can easily examine areas to improve without diminishing your self-worth.

Once you figure out what you want to improve, start setting some goals. Choose a deadline, and start performing small tasks everyday to get you closer to reaching your goals.

Review those goals every day to keep them fresh in your mind. You can even track your progress to see how far you've come. That's a great motivator to keep you moving forward.

You can do this. After all, you are
